The potential for a life of healthy flourishing begins with the ability to speak, think, read, and write.

We firmly believe the state of childhood literacy is a national emergency that not only impacts the health and well-being of families and communities, but also impacts national, state and local economies, as well as overall business success. This interconnection requires everyone’s participation and partnership to do the great work of giving children the opportunity to have a fruitful and flourishing life.

Business. Community Organizations.

We offer in-person, virtual, and blended literacy workshops and seminars that equip staff and members to help children develop thinking, speaking, reading, and writing skills that will prepare them for a lifetime of learning..

Our Current Workshops

  • Developing An Early Literacy Strategy
Discover the first steps to take to establish your organization as a center of child reading development.  This is ideal for organizations that care for pre-school aged children, or community centers that serve shool-aged children who are not currently proficient readers.
  • Personal Leadership and Development
Participating personnel will be encouraged to know that they already have the foundational skills needed to help children learn to read.  This workshop will help staff and community members learn how to build upon that foundation.
  • Implementing a 5 Step Process to Literacy
Are you ready to begin teaching the children in your care how to read? This workshop gives you a clear, step by step process to get started. We demonstrate this using an easy to follow method that allows you to implement a literacy program soon after you complete the workshop.
  • Preparing Parent Partners
Do you want to bring parents into your plan to teach children how to read? This workshop is designed to help parents understand how they can influence and help their child to read in as little as 10 minutes a day.  We understand how overwhelmed some parents can be so this seminar is not judgemental, but inspiring, encouraging, and resourceful.

Reading plays a pivotal role in a child’s belief in their ability to learn. It can also make a child feel ostracized, like an outsider, and that they do not belong.

Reading is needed for every aspect of life and learning. Children who read can, dream, speak about, and plan
for a future.

Given a chance, all kids can read. When a child can read, a child can believe. A child who believes can change the world.
