Readers League is a weekly online writing and comprehension group where children of similar reading stages read the same book, discuss what they’ve read, and write about their ideas.

It’s the next important step from learning to read to reading to learn.

What Happens in Readers League?

Each week, readers:

• Read the same selected book
• Talk about characters, events, ideas, and meaning
• Answer and ask thoughtful questions
• Strengthen reading comprehension
• Write about what they’ve read
• Learn to express and support their ideas

Readers League gives children regular opportunities to read, think, discuss, and write alongside other young readers.
