It’s the next important step from learning to read to reading to learn.

What Happens in Readers League?

Each week, readers:

• Read the same selected book
• Talk about characters, events, ideas, and meaning
• Answer and ask thoughtful questions
• Strengthen reading comprehension
• Write about what they’ve read
• Learn to express and support their ideas

Readers League gives children regular opportunities to read, think, discuss, and write alongside other young readers.
